NBH 800 5x is designed for machining of different configurations of workpieces with complex geometries where the tilt-swivel head is needed for simultaneous 5-axis machining. Additional magazines and automatic pallet change provide full automation of machining.

Tilting-Rotary table

The tilting-rotary table is particularly designed for processing of complex workpieces from different sides with drilling of holes and machining of surfaces with different angles as well as free-form surfaces:

  • Complete processing in one clamping (5-axis machining in one clamping)
  • Usage as a positioning axis or for simultaneous machining
  • High moment of tilting/rotation and feed at A-axis due to backlash-free double worm gear drive
  • All proven NBH spindles with high torque and performance for highest accuracy requirements can be used

Motor and gear spindles

Wide range of motor and gear spindles with different torques and speeds allows choosing of equipment that fully conforms to production requirements. Wide range of options allows precisely choosing the machine configuration that completely conforms to a specific production task. Cylindrical motor and gear spindles are easily replaced, thus providing easy and quick maintenance and exploitation.

Advantages of gear spindles:

  • Automatic two-step gear changing

Modular tool magazines

Choosing of an individual tool magazine conforming to production needs of the customer. Wide range of options for tool magazines of NBH machines allows choosing of optimal solution for your production:

  • Disk-type magazine with Pick-up system for 40 tool locations:
    • Proven, reliable and cost-effective
    • Quick tool changing in the spindle by pick-up system
    • Steel tool holder brackets
  • Disk-type magazine for 60 or 120 tool locations:
    • Storing of tools in special double clamps
    • High positioning accuracy of CNC-controlled disk
    • Quick transporting of tools during machining by means of CNC-controlled drive
  • Rack type magazine:
    • Re-setting of complete tool sets during machining
    • Tool loading station (drawer) allows inward and outward loading of single (worn-out) tools

Hydraulic clamping

2- or 6-line hydraulic clamping that is activated inside of the setup station of the working area. Optional pneumatic version.

Workpiece measuring

Measuring probe with infrared data transmission for measuring of workpieces or/and clamping devices during processing. Tool changing unit automatically mounts the measuring probe at the spindle.

Tool monitoring

Upgrading of the monitoring system to the full safety package for fully automatic production.
