The machine is designed for milling of large batches of pats. The automation system comprises a ring, gantry or robot loader depending on the type of production and parameters of parts. Patented Modul technology allows integrating of auxiliary functions to shorten the time of processing and operations.

Column with quill and rotary axis

CDT Technology

CDT technology allows integrating of different auxiliary functions in your gear hobbing machine: chamfering and deburring of gears, centering, radial drilling with position orientation, and other required operations with driven or non-driven tools. One or two CNC controlled tool arms are mounted at the rear side of the counter column. The functions of these arms are integrated into the gear hobbing machine software and allow readjusting, including data feed, adjustment and correction with high efficiency. Thus machining of various types of gears and workpieces with multiple gears in one clamping is possible, e.g. preliminary processing before honing – the first step of milling, chamfering/deburring – the second step of milling. Chamfer cutters with special tool heads can also be used. The basic CDT unit is designed as a multifunctional unit that can be easily readjusted for different auxiliary functions due to easy changing of tool sets or tool heads with standard fixtures. Wide range of types of processing is applied even in small batch production. Models fitted with CDT technology can be equipped with a fast and flexible gantry loader and can be easily integrated into existing manufacturing cells or production lines.

Synchro Cut Technology

Innovative Synchro Cut principle is also based on CDT technology. Chamfering/deburring spindles synchronized by CNC are fed parallel to hobbing and function, most of the time, simultaneously with processing. Two-way processing guarantees tooth flank surfaces without burr and further appearance of secondary burr. In addition to high quality of processing the machine time is reduced notwithstanding the additional processing.
