    Gear hobbing machines of small and middle size manufactured by Module are suited to work-pieces with diameter up to 400 mm and module up to 8.0 mm. Ample capabilities of special functions allow choosing optimal solutions for a wide range of process tasks. Machines adopt different gear hobbing technologies: rolling method and profile hobbing, including skiving of quenched gearings. Machines can be prepared for dry and wet machining. Depending on application different types of tools can be used: high-speed steel, solid carbide mills or mills with changeable throw-away cutting plates. Along with straight and helical gears, crowned and tapered, special software options enable manufacturing cluster gears, worm gears, sprockets and special profiles.
