FLEXI 7
Versatile FLEXI machining centres with movable working tables and 5 simultaneously controlled axes are designed for processing of complex workpieces in one clamping in small and large batch production. They are used in automotive, aircraft, aerospace and medical industries, as well as in moulds and dies production.
Speed
- Tilting head, rotary table and max. high rapid traverse speed 60 rpm allow processing of complex workpieces
- Large ball screw combined with an electric motor and direct drive provides high dynamics of the machine
- Max. cutting speed 50 m/min enlarges tool durability.
Versatility
- Tilting head 110° - flexible angle positioning
- Diameter of workpieces is determined by the cylinder with 840 mm diameter and 1175 mm height above the table surface – machining of large workpieces without interference
- Motor spindle can work in inclined (20°) position – machining of grooves and other hard-to-cut parts of workpieces
Precision
- Rigid and stable cast iron bed – stability of workpiece positioning
- Temperature probes connected to CNC send data about temperature changes – axle shift is performed to compensate thermal drifts
- Differential temperature control for motorspindle, tilting head and rotary table by means of cooling contours provides processing accuracy
Ergonomics
- Sigma Tool Check control panel is placed nearby the loading/unloading station for convenient operations with the tool magazine
- Rotary operator panel that functions together with CNC can be placed nearby the working area for controlling of machining process

Motor-spindle
- Standard motor-spindle is driven by the synchronous electro motor with power 33 kW, torque 180 Nm and speed 12000 rpm
- Cooling by circulating liquid, temperature is controlled by the external cooling unit
- HSK-A-63 taper is available as an option with 18000 rpm and 120 Nm, with power 25 kW or 24000 rpm, 81.5 Nm with power 24 kW
Tool magazine
- Chain magazines with 40, 50 or 64 tool locations are available.
- Tools are easily checked and replaced at the chain through sliding doors with safety locking without stopping of a manufacturing cycle.
- Chip-to-chip tool change time - 4,5 sec.
