Advantages
- High reliability and silent operation are ensured by the elimination of the mechanical components
- No operator required
- The combination of the linear motors with the very rigid structure improves the accuracy and finishing qualities of the machining
- Linx Design was conceived to better exploit speed and acceleration during the machining of large styling models and prototypes with a considerable reduction in the production times
Configuration
- Pneumo-hydraulic counterweight-high speed and reliability:
- compensation of ram and cross-saddle weight
- improved dynamic performances
- optimized for very high speed and acceleration
- X-axis – very high degree of accuracy and rigidity:
- two guides 65 series (4 + 4 slide pads) on each side + automatic brake
- 2 optical pressurized scales Heidenhain
- Z-axis – very high degree of accuracy and rigidity:
- two guides 65 series (3 +3 slide pads) + automatic pneumatic brake
- optical pressurized scales Heidenhain
- Heat control for higher accuracy:
- all heat sources are water cooled (axis motors , spindle motor, spindle bearings, head torque motor)
- machine temperature conforms with the ambient temperature in the workshop to avoid geometric deformation
- The best dynamic performance on the market:
- X Axis: 6 motors Siemens + precision cooling device
- Y Axis: 2 motors Siemens + precision cooling device
- Z axis : 1 motor Siemens + precision cooling device
- Overhead gantry + fixed table
- model styling
- prototypes
- finishing of large size mold & die components
- aluminum alloy and composite aerospace component machining
- Tool cooling system:
- aerosol
- air purge
- water cooling with filtering coolant tank
- Measuring tools/measuring probes system:
- contact Renishaw RMP60 sensor
- contact sensor MULTI 20.00 M&H
- fixed laser presetting device BLUM
- Folding top:
- full enclosure of working area
- compatible with high-speed axial displacement
- can be removed to provide access for cranes to the working area
- Tool magazine:
- different solutions for existing tool magazines
- chain-type fixed magazine installable on a platform (from 16 to 40 positions) or on the gantry with a robotic arm for automatic tool change (from 30 to 80 positions)
