The 3+2 axis TS10 machining center has a moving column along the transversal axis.
It is employed for mould and die applications as well as in high general precision engineering.

- Its structures are made in cast iron. Their dimensions allow the chip removal rates typical of milling machines and the high dynamic performances of the machines designed for finishing operations
- As all products of T and TRT lines, TS10 is characterized by a technical solution, which has been used for years and constantly improved by Sachman: the transversal movement of the column and the absence of the slide
- Wide worktable is fully supported by X axis base
- The TS10 machining centreis equipped with a KOSMO 3 5000 head.The KOSMO 3 5000 uses ISO 50 cones; it is lubricated by oil kept at a constant temperature by a cooling device. The head clamping is carried out with Hirth toothing
- A double auger removal system, parallel to the table sides and to the X axis, unloads the chips on a lifting conveyor. The conveyor houses the tank and pump for tool lubricating and cooling. This solution guarantees high geometrical accuracy and excellent chip removal performance unrelated to the position of of transveral axis
- Tool exchange occurs when the column is totally withdrawn in order not to cause any sort of interference with the working area
- Front and back sliding doors
- The center offers an excellent visibility of the work area and accessibility to the spindle
- All linear axes are equipped with direct transducer systems and are driven by means of rotary ball-screws. Linear guides with roller bearing packs are used
