The showroom displays a new machine tool
The acceptance of the horizontal machining center NBH 6 was successfully done on the manufacturer’s premises in Mosbach, Germany. Tests involving manufacturing of a test part were conducted with further measuring of the produced part with a control and measuring device.
The size of pallets 630х630 and X / Y / Z-axes travel 800х800х800 allows machining medium-size and large parts. The equipment ensures high precision machining due to the arrangement of axes which adopts the principle of a horizontal boring-and-turning machine. The NBH 6 is equipped with a CNC swivel table and a pallet changer (max. load on a pallet 1000 kg, max. speed 80 rpm), geared spindle 25 – 10000 rpm (46 kW/1130 NM at 40 % ed. 37 kW/908 NM at 100% ed.) and a disk-type tool magazine for 60 locations. All this allows choosing the optimal solution to meet manufacturing needs.
Due to one piece cast bed the whole machine, except for the tool magazine, forms a single shipping unit. This makes it possible to considerably reduce installation and commissioning time. Rigid control system with a robust ball-screw, bearings, roller slides and high static weight of the bed ensure heavy duty cutting and long service life. The backlash free slideways are equipped with the direct distance-coded measuring system on all axes. Three-phase brushless digital servomotors with closed housing allow easy maintenance.
